Our life journey has led us right here. As a native Kentuckian, Farmer Gwen remembers her grandparent's central Kentucky farm from her childhood. The chicken house, fresh milk from the cows, pastures with salt licks, the smells, kitchen garden, old barns and buildings, abandoned outhouse - you get the picture. That family farm is now gone, but Gwen and hubby Mark share a passion to live on a farmstead and grow nourishing and chemical free vegetables for themselves and others. Her journey has seen her work as a sales professional (industrial textiles then healthy food products) for most of her career, then mid life allowed her to earn a M.S. in Holistic Nutrition, a certificate in Iridology, and to work on a successful market Farm in Illinois. Gwen's love is nourishing food - cooking, growing, eating and sharing it.
